'Making a tail'?

Postby Pajarita » Wed Mar 17, 2021 9:30 am

Not a trick but a breeding behavior for male lovebirds but this goes to show how little people know about birds! The bird is not 'tailless' or a 'designer parrot' and it's not 'making a tail for himself', it's simply making sure he can carry as many paper strips he can (in the wild, they do it with leaves) to make a nest.
