New thread on stole parrots reports.

Thief was caught but parrot still not found, feared dead:

Baby Galah stolen from store (but what is a baby 3 month old too doing exposed to everybody and his grandmother in the store?!) The writer claims the bird is still being 'bottle-fed' - sheesh!

The quaker on the post before this one was found dead. Apparently, the man thought he was taking a box with mice he had just bought and left it in the car all day long, when he went to see, he found the parrot dead inside. But, I ask you, what kind of an insensitive idiot puts a parrot in a box and just leaves the box on a counter?!

A bit more on the story of the quaker that died after being taken by mistake by man buying mice. Personal note: I also find it very suspicious that the man did not go back to the store with the bird when he found it - even if it was dead.

He had stolen the birds and then let them die - police only found empty cages!

And the plot thickens... Police got a tip from a neighbor that the man who had taken the box with the parrot lied and that he actually stole it on purpose and kept it.

And the story continues: they have now arrested the man but they can't find the parrot!

Baby Galah stolen in October is back! He had been bought by somebody who did not know the bird had been stolen. Now, let's hope they have learned their lesson and do not leave the birds unattended in the store.
