Gut bacteria and social behavior link

Postby Pajarita » Fri Jul 02, 2021 9:54 am

This is super interesting! A study with mice found that a healthy gut bacteria 'talks' to the brain and has an impact on the social behavior of the animal. Another powerful reason why a fresh food diet is so very important for our parrots! It not only keeps their immune system strong, it also affects whether they are more open to socialization with others of their own species - WOW!!!
