Look at these and tell me if you would not LOVE to have them? I know I would!

I’m no Artist but I can imagine the painting feathers is much more complicated than we lay people understand. He captures movement very well.

Same with me. I have NO artistic talent whatsoever but I absolutely LOVE paintings (not so much sculpture). I also know nothing about what is good or what is not - for example, I am not much on modern art, thoroughly dislike cubism and abstracts leave me with nothing but I do like impressionism and post-impressionism and love love love the 'old' religious paintings from the Italian school (I got a knot in my throat and my eyes filled up with tears looking at the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel - and I am an atheist  ) . Having said that, I once saw Guernica in MOMA when they had a Picasso exhibition and was VERY impressed by the sheer power of it (the destruction and pain it caused is clear and it really hits you - it gave me a terrible feeling in my chest).
