I picked Ziz and Razu. I like the meaning pchela presented for the name Ziz, and I like its sound. It also fits your criteria a lot better than Saturn and Truman. Those 2 names don't really fit any of your criteria to be honest. People would be mad if you did that after they tried to think of names specifically to match that criteria and you just totally ignored all of it in the end. Razu just sounds good, I probably like it so much because it's like Rafiki and Zazu combined and Lion King is my absolute favorite movie of all time. Congratulations by the way, the time is pretty close now.

I picked Ziz because it fits your criteria perfectly, it sounds nice and the meaning is awesome. Also, I scoured the net for hours looking for a perfect name and I was thrilled when I found Ziz! Naming your bird after a mythical bird that protects all other birds is pretty cool if you ask me.

Even if you were in violation of some kind of copyright (which you won't be; the filmmakers can't copyright a film title) the worst that could happen is they'd ask you to stop using it.

I quite like Truman... in fact, it is in my name reserve and I considered it for my Grey. The Truman Show is one of my favorite films! So, if you use it, I can not be responsible if I use it later. :P (The Grey is getting a new name as Simon is not sticking)

Seriously? You're still going to use that name if I use it?

Probably not but I'll be a little sad. All of my pets are named after favorite characters of mine from film, television or literature. It would be a good name for the Cape though.

I just put my votes down for Zar and Truman. I'm strongly leaning toward Truman but if you're seriously planning to use it, I'm not too thrilled about diluting the name in the future cause of the whole uniqueness factor I'm trying to maintain (esp cause we're on same forum, etc). I dunno if you had the name idea previously but didn't mention it but I definitely came up with it independently and mentioned it on the forum recently. It's kind of the way I'm leaning right now but won't be sure until I get the parrot. Which won't be for another week, I'm pissed.
