Madrid to reduce feral quakers numbers

Postby Pajarita » Tue Oct 08, 2019 9:13 am

Needless to say, the whole 'reason' for doing it is half bunk! Quakers do not 'damage' trees, do not 'fight' for food and it's very easy to make sure that a large nest will not fall on people - Sheesh! back home we have been living with thousands of them since the beginnings of time and none of these things have ever happened!

But they are planning on rendering their eggs infertile and not actually killing them so it's not bad.

Well, now it appears that they are not only going to render their eggs infertile but they are also going to trap them and kill them!

This is not in Madrid but in Costa del Sol (Spain Mediterranean beach resorts area) and, as you can see on the article, they are even considering shooting them all based on erroneous and already debunked theories... Poor quakers!
