It's your fault you got bit and you deserved it too!

This is very useful. Would you say clicker training could be useful to stop birds biting? As in, hold my hand near my bird for a few seconds, then click and give him a treat? My Quaker isn't too used to me yet and he tends to nibble/bite me when I put my hand too close to him. I haven't reacted to his bites beyond the occasional (inevitable) flinch and have only been giving him the back of my hand so he has can't get his beak around a finger or the side of my hand to actually bite down on.
