Auditory attention same for birds and humans

A new study has found that birds pay attention to auditory clues the same way that people does - meaning, they have the same ability as humans do to pay attention to a specific sound even when there are other sounds going on (like the owner's voice or a favorite song). This shows us how important it is to talk to them using words or phrases they know.
