Do you open your windows in the spring/summer?
Everywhere I've read suggests that windows should always be closed with birds around. I quite like having my windows open during the spring and summer months, especially as I currently have no air conditioner and it can get pretty warm.
My windows all have screens in them so the birds can't fly out and nothing can get in. And because my apartment is so tiny, I can see the birds from almost every point in my apartment unless I'm in the kitchen, and they're in the cage anyway.
So is this safe? Or should I learn to live with being hot, which isn't advisable with the medications I'm on.
