It’s even possible that some dinosaurs descended from birds.

I attended a talk at the New York Paleontological Society where a researcher described some of the new findings and hypothesis. It's not that dinosaurs descended from birds per say. It's more that some commonly accepted "dinosaurs" are more recent and appear to be descended from flying ancestors. Depending on classification, those flying ancestors could possibly be referred to as birds. Regardless, if they are or are not, the interesting thing is that research into front limb bone lengths appear to show that some dinosaurs became flightless like ostriches and developed shorter and shorter limbs.
