Baby Senegal talks herself to sleep

Our 4 month old Mimi takes naps with me, either in bed on my chest, or on my knee while I'm working. She spends about 15 minutes chittering away and making tiny whistles and pops until she puts her head beneath her wing and goes sound asleep. She does not vocalize when she goes down for the night, only during naps. It's like she's almost telling herself a bedtime story. I love hearing her and I'm fascinated by this. Anyone else experience this?
