she is a senegal/red belly hybrid. what is your opinion on hybrids like these? ( please do'nt drag other hybrids into the topic, i am searhing for poicephalus opinions only, just to clear things up! thanks)
i think she is beautiful, but what about bloodlines and keeping a breed pure? what happens when there are no more of the normal colorations?

I know that the lutino and albino peachpaced lovebird originated by crossing in the ino from the yellow collared lovebird. In fact creating hybrids.
Peronally I dont like hybrid species. I dont like the way they look. But there is nothing wrong with keeping them as pets, or even breeding them. As long as it is known that it is a hybrid, maybe even registered as one. That way them wont be able to return to somebody's purebred breedingstock and mess things up.
