Rare cockatoo stops mining in island

Postby Pajarita » Tue Sep 03, 2019 9:04 am

A population of the Philippine Cockatoo, a bird that is critically endangered, is the reason three villages in the Philippine island of Homonghon has requested mining be stopped from the environmental agency which went one step further and has recommended the entire island be now designated as critical environment (this is because there are other endangered species in the island).
