Looks like it might be a pretty small cage, but can't really tell. I can see that this white perch is bad for the birds feet and would change it to a different type of perch.

It's a medium sized cage so he has room.

There are so many different cage types that the size of medium has no real meaning to me as it could be a medium cage for a small bird or a medium cage for a large bird or a medium flight cage and all of these cages will have different measurements so the minimum size café for this bird should be 24 inches wide, 20 inches deep and 24 inches high not including stand.

My dear Lady, don't worry, doesn't work with me. You see I am spending hours every day researching about parrots and in answering questions on this and other forums due to the simple fact that I am concerned about these birds. The truth of the matter is that I care about your bird every bit as much as I care about my own birds. This means rather simply that if I would worry about it with my birds that I will worry about it with your birds. The difference lies in that all I can do with your birds is to share with you what I know and encourage you to do additional research on your own and then leave you to decide what you are going to do with the information for your bird. And that is all that I am doing, sharing what I know and then letting you do with it what you will.

I understand all that you are saying, and I have no issues, but one of my functions is to learn as much as I am able and then take this new knowledge and pass it on. It can be so very hard for people who are new to birds as there is so much information available and the only problem with this is that a large percentage of it is now outdated, sort of like in the study of computers in that some of it is outdated by the time that it reaches the public. The measurements for the minimum size of cage is based on the measurements of the bird itself as well as on the what we have learned about how space affects mental and emotional stability of the bird. Any way you have the information, it is up to you on how to use it.

This kind of struck me the wrong way too. It was like you were say that it is good enough.
I hope I didn't take your wrong but with me good enough isn't good enough. I always try to give my kids better than good enough. I have taken ends off flight cages and joined them together to allow for at least short flight for exersize.

Sorry if it sounded wrong, I didn't mean to sound bad.

I'm just a kid and used my b-day money to get him. The biggest I could afford was a cage ment for a cockatiels and I thought it was a great size for him since cockatiels are way bigger than lovebirds lol. So please, I'm trying my best and you guys know I deeply care for tamaki or eles I wouldn't be posting and asking for help.
